Exclusive Search for False Advertising defense /Class Actions /Prop 65 Litigation Partner-Portable business not required
We are currently embarking on an exclusive search for very experienced false advertising/class actions defense litigator who has Prop 65 experience. The position is open to partners, counsels, and senior associates.
Our client wants to hire someone who has 10+ years of false advertising, class actions, and Prop 65 litigation experience to open an office in Los Angeles or the Bay Area. This position is open to partners, counsels and senior associates. You will join as a partner. The firm is known for its work at the cutting edge of FDA, Prop 65, advertising, IP, E-commerce, supply-chain and litigation. They represent the best in class of food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, drug, medical device, cleaning product and personal care companies. The firm represents health and beauty brands, retailers, ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, industry trade associations, corporate law firms, technology, and media giants, private equity and venture firms, and government-sponsored commerce groups. It would be a plus to have food, beverage, or health & beauty experience, and experience defending those kinds of labeling and advertising claims.
The ideal candidate will have experience that is 40% class actions/false advertising defense, 15-20% Prop 65, and the rest of your practice can be a mix of commercial, intellectual property, or employment matters. False advertising class action defense will be a significant part of your practice. You will be expected to handle Prop 65 defense cases related to the health and beauty industry on a regular basis. Experience and being comfortable with these types of cases is very important.
Portable business is not required, and you will join as a partner. Counsels and senior associates will also join as partners.
