Barbara Levenson was raised in Palo Alto and earned degrees from Stanford University and Tulane Law School. She has worked as a legal recruiter since 1989. Barbara has lived in Los Angeles and Palo Alto and is familiar with the law firm and business cultures of Northern and Southern California. Her informed perspective provides candidates with a unique advantage when making important career decisions. Barbara serves as an adviser for Stanford Professional Women in the Bay Area. She served as Co-President on the Board of Stanford Professional Women of Los Angeles. In 2013 she was inducted into the Stanford Associates, an honorary organization to recognize exceptional and sustained volunteer service to Stanford University. She remains actively involved in alumni activities and with fundraising. Barbara also enjoys helping law students and pre-law students with their career planning.
Tab Schweitzer co-founded Levenson Schweitzer in 1999. He earned his degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
Lee Kite is a Consultant and Career Coach with more than 25 years of experience. She spent almost 20 years in the private sector with two Am Law Top 100 (and “A-List”) firms in Silicon Valley. Lee served as a Firmwide Recruitment Manager, and as a Recruitment and Marketing Manager. At those firms, she worked closely with law schools around the country and oversaw the firms’ law student and lateral attorney recruiting programs. She spent nine years as a Private Sector Career Counselor at Stanford Law School, advising Stanford Law School students and alumni on private sector careers and options. As a career coach and consultant for CareerWave, she worked in particular with women returning to the workforce, and led workshops on interviewing and resume writing. She is a certified Myers Briggs professional and uses type indicator frequently in counseling. A NALP member since 1987, Lee is a frequent panelist and speaker at conferences and firms. She received her BA in English and Spanish from Agnes Scott College and an MA in Latin America Studies from the University of Texas, Austin.
Elyse Grubb is a native of New York, where she studied business at City College. She began working with Barbara Levenson in 1989.
