While prior on-point experience is a plus, the firm will re-tool top litigators who have a strong interest in switching into trusts and estates litigation. The firm is known for its trust and probate litigation, including will and trust contests; undue influence actions; and fiduciary litigation (either pursuing or defending trustees for misuse of trust assets.) The firm also handles trust and probate administrations. The majority of the work is trust and probate litigation. The founding partner is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Only about 3% of estate planning attorneys have achieved this certification and this is an opportunity to learn from the best! Trust and estate litigation experience is a plus, but not required.
